New Contributors

I wanted to introduce a new contributor to this blog.  I am happy to announce Dr. Linchi Kwok from Syracuse University.  Here is his bio from the Syracuse website:

Most recently, Linchi Kwok was a graduate instructor in the Department of Nutrition, Hospitality and Retailing at Texas Tech University, where he completed his Ph.D. in hospitality administration. His dissertation was entitled, “Hospitality graduating seniors who meet hospitality recruiters’ selection criteria: a mixed methods investigation using rational choice theory.” He holds a master’s degree in restaurant, hotel and institutional management from Texas Tech University, and a bachelor’s degree from Guangdong Commercial College.

His industry experience includes managerial and consultant roles with properties in China including the Crosswaters Ecolodge and Spa, The Royal Hotel and the China Hotel, as well as Rotary House International and several Marriott properties in the United States. His professional portfolio also includes service with the Bureau of Foreign Economic Relations and Trade, Canton, China. A member of the Council on Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Education (CHRIE), Kwok has several research projects and articles in progress.
